The idea is that if students are given a choice, they are more likely to feel like they have control and will engage with the assessment (lower ability students can also be directed). Using the heat rating from Nando’s, students should target the success criteria detailed. The attached takeaway menu details a creative writing task to accompany Roald Dahl’s ‘Lamb to the Slaughter’. However, this takeaway menu could be amended to suit any task.

PowerPoints attached to accompany Word document for each week, to consolidate knowledge. Task could be used during Form period as a whole school literacy focus and shared on the school’s social media platforms.
